I was impressed with the cozy pub atmosphere and the thoughtful herbal tea selection in the room, making my stay more enjoyable.

The room felt tight for a solo traveler, lacking a telephone or the luxury of space. Breakfast selections were limited, offering only basic options like beans on toast or cereal. The absence of a restaurant beyond breakfast hours and the late start meant I had to skip an early meal before my conference. With no elevator, lugging luggage to the upper floors wasn’t fun either. it seemed more like a budget option rather than a four-star experience.

we had a nice warm welcome when we checked in, and the room was a good size with an extremely comfy bed. the bathroom was nice too, and the parking out back was safe, which was a big plus. breakfast was hearty and traditional, just what we wanted. overall, a relly pleasant stay for 2 nights!
the noise from the street was a bit annoying, especially the first night. and the church bell chimed all night but we kinda found it charming

I absolutely loved the cozy decor—it felt like a warm hug! 😊 Location is ideal, but the church bells chiming through the night were a bit much.

Had a super comfy stay in a double room with a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and a private bathroom. The shower was excellent with strong water pressure, and the room was nice and clean. The location is fab, right on the high street. There's free parking. Perfect for a quick getaway!

missingWrote a review on 11 Juncharming decorvariety pastriesconfusing check-in
This spot has charming decor that blends its historic roots with a bistro vibe, giving a unique atmosphere. The variety of pastries on display adds a nice touch to the overall experience, even if they're fiercely protected.
Check-in is confusing as it requires heading to the bar instead of a designated reception area, which feels a bit off. The noise levels can be disruptive, especially on weekend nights, as street sounds linger until the early hours. Rooms are quite compact, with en suite bathrooms that had unpleasant sewage odors, which can be a dealbreaker. Breakfast options are limited. they don’t offer a full English breakfast, and it starts late—definitely not convenient for early risers or business travelers. it feels misleading to rate this place as a four-star hotel given the lack of basic amenities like an elevator and a proper dining option.

I stayed here for a business trip and found the location perfect for my needs, with plenty of dining options nearby. The atmosphere in the bar was relaxing, and I enjoyed the comfortable bed in my room. I was disappointed that dinner wasn't available at the hotel, which required me to head out. it was a pleasant stay but lacking some key dining amenities.
